The witches of Grailwood Coven follow the movements of earth, moon, sun and stars amidst the steel towers of our huge stone city of New York. This island, surrounded by rivers and salt sea, is one of the hubs of the human world; it could be easy here to forget or ignore the song of the Trees, and the Animal Spirits, and the voices of the Ancestral Past. But it is our understanding of the grail quest to seek the truth about the mysterious connection between us and all the Cosmos: to understand b …

Every rescued dog is a success story, and this group can be a place to share your dog's own story while meeting other people who have made the same commitment to saving an animal from a shelter, the streets, or any other bad situation. Join us for a casual leashed walk around Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Since many people are kind enough to adopt dogs with behavioral issues, this isn't a playgroup, but rather a low-key pack walk. Our walks generally last 1.5 hours, and may involve some hills and/o …

I noticed that while there are a ton of groups in Manhattan for small dog owners to get together with and without their pets, there aren't any for us big dog owners. I live on the UWS, am single, and have the world's most playful 6 year old chocolate lab.... I'd love to meet likeminded people also with big dogs for playgroups and fun. Perhaps we can meet on Saturday or Sunday mornings in Central Park, or organize fun runs, or just generally mix and mingle with our awesome dogs.... So, if you hav …
